Committees
The standing committees of the Association are as follows:

Committees are established to work in collaboration with the Board of Directors to ensure the accomplishment of specific goals, objectives, and functions related to the overall operation of the Association for which they are formed.
Committee members are appointed by the Board of Directors to serve a three-year term. Committee members, except those persons on the Editorial Board, may serve only two consecutive terms on a given committee. A minimum of one year must elapse before seeking appointment for that particular committee again.

Members interested in filling one of the vacancies and serving on a Committee must submit a Letter of Interest by February 1 and return it to the Administrative Office. Current committee members whose terms of office expire must also submit a Letter of Interest if they wish to be considered for reappointment.
Committee nominees will be selected based upon their qualifications and stated interest. Appointees will be chosen by the Committee Chair and Board Liaison to that Committee, with the approval of the Board of Directors. New committee members will be notified by May and will assume their positions at the close of the annual business meeting in September.
